WE ARE HIRING! – The Initiatives for International Dialogue (IID) is seeking a motivated and dynamic peacebuilder and human rights advocate to fill the position of Deputy Executive Director (DED).

The Deputy Executive Director will have both internal and external responsibilities, ranging from project management and development, organisational development and human resource administration to representations, advocacy and donor relations. The DED will be primarily responsible in ensuring the planning, monitoring and evaluation processes of the institution and its component programs in the implementation of its strategic direction.

The Deputy Executive Director will partner closely with the Executive Director and coordinate with IID’s Management Committee in steering IID’s growth and its responses to changing contexts and needs of partners and constituencies. The responsibilities of the role are varied, challenging, and require the ability to operate effectively within a fast -paced, and multicultural environment. The DED represents IID’s Executive Director (ED) in public and private platforms, and assists the ED in maintaining key networks and relationships. The ideal candidate is a seasoned and innovative manager who pays close attention to detail while also focusing on the big picture.

The Deputy Executive Director will be based in Davao City, Philippines, and will report directly to the Executive Director.
